Crunchy Garlic Baguette

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced in half lengthwise
  • 3 tablespoons Garlic Olive Oil from The Little Shop of Olive Oils
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F.
  • In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, Garlic Olive Oil, and minced garlic.
  • Mix until the ingredients are well blended and smooth.
  • Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over the cut sides of the baguette.
  • Sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese on top of the buttered baguette halves.
  • Add a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.
  • Place the prepared baguette halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the bread is crispy and golden brown on the edges.
  • Remove from the oven and, if desired, sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and flavor.
  • Slice the baguette into smaller pieces and serve warm.
