Pear & Brie Crostini with Rosemary Olive Oil

Ingredients:

  • 1 baguette, sliced into ½-inch rounds
  • 2 tablespoons Rosemary Premium Olive Oil (plus extra for drizzling)
  • 8 oz brie cheese, sliced
  • 2 ripe pears, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons Franklin Raw Honey
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs for garnish
  • Pinch of sea salt

Instructions:

  • Preheat your oven to 375ºF (190ºC). Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides lightly with Rosemary O live Oil.
  • Bake the baguette slices in the oven for 7-10 minutes, or until lightly golden and crispy.
  • Remove the bread from the oven. Place a slice of brie cheese on each crostini, followed by a slice of pear.
  • Return the baking sheet to the oven for 3-5 minutes, or until the brie is just melted.
  • Drizzle the crostini with honey, sprinkle with chopped nuts (if using), and add a tiny sprig of fresh rosemary for garnish. Finish with a light drizzle of Rosemary Olive Oil and a pinch of sea salt for extra flavor.
  • Transfer the crostini to a serving platter and serve immediately as a warm and delicious appetizer
