Skillet Garlic Butter Shrimp

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb. large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp Garlic Premium Olive Oil
  • 2 tbsp Butter Premium Olive Oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 4-5 whole roasted garlic cloves (optional, for extra flavor)
  • 1 tbsp Sicilian Lemon White Balsamic Vinegar
  • 1 small red chili or 1 tbsp chopped red chili pepper (optional, for heat)
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • A handful of fresh arugula leaves (for garnish)
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  • Heat the Garlic Olive Oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side until pink and slightly golden. Remove and set aside.
  • Lower the heat and add the Butter Olive Oil to the skillet. Stir in the minced garlic, roasted garlic cloves, and red chili (if using). Cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  • Stir in the Balsamic Vinegar and red pepper flakes (if using), mix well to combine and brighten the sauce.
  • Add the cooked shrimp back to the skillet, tossing to coat in the garlic butter sauce. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until heated through.
  • Sprinkle with fresh parsley, garnish with arugula leaves, and serve immediately with lemon wedges on the side.
