Vermont Maple Balsamic Cream Cheese Phyllo Bites

Ingredients:

  • 1 package phyllo shells (pre-made, 15 shells)
  • 8 oz whipped cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 2 tbsp Vermont Maple Balsamic Vinegar

Instructions:

  • In a medium bowl, combine the whipped cream cheese, 1 tbsp of fresh thyme leaves, and 1 tbsp of Balsamic. Mix well until smooth.
  • Place the phyllo shells on a serving platter or baking sheet.
  • Spoon or pipe a small dollop of the cream cheese mixture into each phyllo shell.
  • Top each shell with a dried cranberry and a sprinkle of crumbled bacon.
  • Lightly drizzle the remaining 1 tbsp of Balsamic over the assembled phyllo bites for a touch of sweetness and tang.
  • Garnish with small thyme sprigs or leaves for an elegant finish.
