Pumpkin Spice Bourbon Smash

Ingredients:
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1 oz Pumpkin Puree
- 1 oz Vermont Maple Dark Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup (or your preferred sweetener mixed with water)
- 1/2 oz Lemon Juice, freshly squeezed
- A pinch of Pumpkin Pie Spice
- Sparkling Water (optional)
- Ice cubes
- Cinnamon Stick and Star Anise, for garnish (optional)
- Orange slice, for garnish (optional)
Instructions:
- Fill a rocks glass with ice cubes and set it aside.
- In a cocktail shaker, add the pumpkin puree, Maple Dark Balsamic Vinegar, simple syrup, lemon juice, and a pinch of pumpkin pie spice.
- Fill the shaker with ice. Place the lid on the shaker and shake well for about 15-20 seconds, or until the mixture is well-chilled.
- Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass over the ice.
- Pour the bourbon over the strained mixture.
- If desired, top with a splash of sparkling water for a bit of fizz.
- Gently stir the drink with a cinnamon stick.
- Garnish with an orange slice and a star anise.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the symphony of flavors!
