Baked Pears with Blue Cheese and Walnuts

Ingredients:
- 2 ripe pears, halved and cored
- 2 tablespoons The Little Shop Gourmet Walnut Oil
- 2 tablespoons The Little Shop Gourmet Fig Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1/4 cup walnuts, roughly chopped
- Fresh thyme sprigs (optional, for garnish)
- Honey (optional, for drizzling)
- Freshly ground black pepper (optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- Place the pear halves cut side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle the pear halves with walnut oil and season with freshly ground black pepper if desired.
- Bake the pears in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.
- Remove the pears from the oven and immediately sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese and chopped walnuts onto the warm pears.
- Drizzle the fig balsamic vinegar over the top, allowing it to soak into the pears and meld with the cheese.
- Garnish with fresh thyme sprigs for a touch of earthiness.
- For added sweetness, drizzle a bit of honey over the top.
