Simple Balsamic Glaze

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Balsamic Vinegar (any flavor)
  • 2 tablespoons Franklin Raw Honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Instructions:

  • In a small saucepan, add the balsamic vinegar and honey (or brown sugar).
  • Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a simmer.
  • Lower the heat and let it gently simmer, stirring occasionally, until the liquid is reduced by half and thickened to a syrup-like consistency (about 10-15 minutes).
  • Stir in garlic powder for a subtle hint of garlic flavor.
  • Remove from heat and allow it to cool. The glaze will thicken slightly as it cools.
  • Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
