Chipotle Chicken Burger

Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground chicken
- 2 tablespoons Chipotle Premium Olive Oil
- ¼ cup finely chopped onion
- ¼ cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of cheese (optional)
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce leaves
- Sliced tomato
- Your favorite burger sauce (Our Aioli with a Kick is one of our favorites)
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, chipotle infused olive oil, chopped onion, breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal parts and shape them into burger patties.
- Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 165ºF (74ºC).
- If using cheese, place a slice of cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Toast the burger buns on the grill or skillet until lightly browned.
- Spread your favorite burger sauce on the bottom bun.
- Place a lettuce leaf on the bottom bun, followed by the cooked chicken patty.
- Add a slice of tomato on top of the patty.
- Finish with the top bun.
- Serve the chipotle chicken burgers immediately with your favorite sides.
