Instructions:
- 1 bag of Classic Focaccia Mix
- 2 tablespoons Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- ¼ cup additional Premium Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Fresh Rosemary Sprigs (Optional)
- Sea Salt for Sprinkling
- 10” or 12” cast iron skillet or 9x12 baking dish
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, pour in the Focaccia Mix, add the yeast packet (found inside the burlap sack), and stir well.
- Add warm water and 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil, mixing until the dough comes together.
- Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead 8–10 times until smooth and elastic.
- Lightly oil a large bowl, place the dough ball inside, and turn to coat it in the oil. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 450ºF. Coat the bottom and sides of your skillet or baking dish with 2–3 tablespoons of olive oil.
- Punch down the dough and place it in the skillet or baking dish. Pat it out to the edges, then use your fingertips to press indentations all over the top of the dough.
- Top with fresh rosemary sprigs if using and sprinkle with sea salt. Drizzle the remaining ¼ cup of olive oil over the top.
- Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Top with a sprinkle of Parmesan, mozzarella, or your favorite toppings.
- Let it rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm and enjoy!
